The seawater resistant stern tubes by Craftsman Marine are made of the best brass alloy that money can buy. By means of the mounting flanges, which are standard supply with the inner bearings, the installation of the stern tube is a “child’s play”. The rubber cutlass bearing has a nice and tight fit inside the tube, but it can be replaced with ease, if need be, with the aid of the recesses inside the tube. The bearing is secured by means of an M6 bolt, positioned on the mounting flange.

All components of a CM stern tube are securely and neatly freed from burrs, so that any damage to these parts is largely avoided.
